Beautiful little cottage, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom all beautifully decorated and well finished. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The gardens are a bit tricky to get down to the front door but very pretty. Living room could do with with a bigger, more cofortable sofa and a coffee table to make a bit more relaxing for nights in. But other than that, perfect cottage for a week in Bakewell.

Lovely cosy cottage for a great price. Great for 2 people wanted to explore the Peak district. Located very close to the centre of Bakewell. Parking a bit tricky but the owner can help if you have a big car. Right on the main road, but the road is quiet at night.

We have stayed in this cottage a couple of times and overall is brilliant. Just it's a shame the gas fire in the living room has been capped off for some reason. When we have stayed previously it was working and it's lovely if you stay in the winter like we did. Also the parking round the back is very tight even for a small car, we now have a Fiesta and don't class this as a big car but believe me my husband was sweating trying to park up with no damage it was a good job we have rear sensors on the back, but apart from these 2 things the cottage would be perfect

Enjoyed stay. Great location. Friendly, helpful hosts. Only drawback is size and steep steps from parking area (which we knew before-hand.) Nice, well equipped modern kitchen, surprisingly large refrigerator, good for all the pies you'll buy at Monday's farmers' market.

Lovely cottage the only down side when we arrived we parked the car at the rear not knowing the amount of steps there was down to the ground level had we known we would have parked at the front just to unload the bags, apart from that everything was perfect all you need for a lovely break, everything in walking distance will definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Lovely cottage within easy walking distance of the centre of Bakewell, spotlessly clean with all of the equipment required for your holiday. Lovely views from the garden over to Bakewell and beyond.

Had a wonderful holiday. Very well equipped cottage, beautifully clean. Kept us fit climbing up the steps in the back garden! A lovely walk past the stream to the Co-op. Lovely walks nearby and great places to visit.
