The rest of this sunny, south-facing room has two leather sofas, a dining table and chairs for four, a large screen television (with freesat channels), DVD player, electric fire and ipod dock. This room overlooks the lawned front garden with access via the front door and stone steps. On the top floor is the main bedroom with king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and en suite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. It was an excellent choice and exceeded our expectations. Everything was great from start to finish. Owen was welcoming and a perfect host. Plus there was a very thoughtful (and welcomed) welcome basket.

We enjoyed a peaceful break in this very delightful cottage, which was conviently sited for shopping in Crickhowell and visiting many locations in the area. There were only two reasons why we couldn't give the cottage full marks and they were down to the two seater settees which were not as comfortable as we would have wished, whilst the glass shelf under the mirror in the up-stairs bathroom prevented full use of the wash basin when cleaning teeth and face washing.
