The forest of Vibraye has 6000 hectares of oak with extensive trails and cycle paths. Le Mans with its Gothic cathedral and famous 24 hour race circuit, is approximately an hour’s drive. A holiday in this area would not be complete without visiting the Loire Valley, approximately 90 minutes’ drive, famous for its châteaux (Chambord, Cheverny, Blois and Amboise), and wines (Chinon and Saumur). Chartres is an hour’s drive and Paris is 2 hours by train or car.
