These three delightful single-storey barn conversions enjoy a peaceful location within the grounds of the owner’s beautiful 17th-century family farmhouse. Located in an idyllic setting in the wonderful New Forest hamlet of South Gorley, near Fordingbridge, with direct access to many New Forest walks and cycle routes.
The properties have been tastefully styled and comfortably furnished, with open plan living/dining and kitchen areas. Each property has a double bedroom with a cot, and a twin bedroom with an additional smaller bed for a child. All the properties have easy walking access and Badger Cottage is also suitable for wheelchair access. Each cottage has its own enclosed lawned garden, and lovely views over open fields to the rear. The games barn offers a popular place for children and adults alike, with table football, table tennis and a collection of outdoor toys. In addition to this, the old orchard has swings, fort with slide and a sandpit, as well as hens and ducks. Guests are welcome to collect the hen’s eggs and have them for breakfast. The Hucklesbrook stream runs alongside the farm, and often ducks can be seen swimming, and sometimes the odd fish too, and there are fishing nets provided for children (adults must supervise please). There are three horses and a pony, often seen looking out from their lovely thatched stables opposite the cottages.
