There are plenty of leisure facilities within the Hall, available from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 9am to 5pm, which can be booked for use via the owner (only available by prior agreement), including a gymnasium with weights and cardio vascular equipment and a sauna. The gymnasium looks out on to a dance floor with a sparkling ceiling consisting of hundreds of multi-coloured lights that sparkle and dazzle like the night sky. Guests can also find a heated swimming pool with wave system and wet bar. On a mezzanine level above the gymnasium, and overlooking the pool and dance floor, there is a games room with large screen TV, pool table, sound system and a refreshments area, which once again can be privately booked via the owner and are available between the hours of 9am to 5pm.     For guests wanting to relax, unwind and really treat themselves, then there is no reason at all to even leave the grounds during their stay, but for those who wish to explore the local area and really get to know County Durham, the Durham Dales and Weardale Valley, then this is the perfect location from which to do so. Witton-le-Wear is an attractive, predominantly Victorian village and is situated on the northern banks of the River Wear.
